Nate Wiggins didn’t travel with the Ravens, who make few moves at cornerback

The Ravens reshuffled their cornerback lineup ahead of Sunday’s game in Cleveland.

Cornerback Nate Wiggins (shoulder/illness) did not travel with the team on Saturday. However, there is still no chance of him playing, which means he could find another means of transport.

The first-round rookie would start in place of Marlon Humphrey, who is doubtful to play due to a knee injury.

The Ravens do have help on the way, as Jalyn Armour-Davis has been activated from injured reserve/designated to return to the 53-man roster. Armour-Davis missed the last four games with a hamstring injury, but returned to full training this week.

The third-year veteran has played in 15 games in his career and started three times. He played 15 snaps on defense in the Ravens’ first two games.

To make room for Armour-Davis, the Ravens placed rookie fourth-round cornerback TJ Tampa (ankle) on injured reserve, meaning he will miss at least the next four games. Tampa has already been ruled out this week. A core injury was already hampering Tampa’s rookie year.

Baltimore also drafted undrafted rookie Bump Cooper Jr. to the practice squad for Sunday’s game. This will be the Oregon State product’s NFL debut.

The Browns got some good news on Saturday activated three-time Pro Bowl cornerback Wyatt Teller from injured reserve. This will be his first game back from a knee injury.
