Police say cyclist identified after two-car crash in Bedford

BEDFORD, Ohio – The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner says: a woman who got stuck under a car and died during a bicycle riding accident on Friday morning.

Linda K. Conger, 59, died in the crash that occurred around 9:15 a.m. on Rockside Road near Broadway Avenue at an auto repair shop, Bedford police said in a news release. Police did not say where Conger lives.

The Bedford Fire Department was called to the business after reports of a two-car crash involving a bicyclist, later identified as Conger, who became stuck under one of the cars, police said.

The fire department arrived at the scene and pronounced Conger dead at the scene. They took care of the other two drivers.

According to the police, the circumstances of the accident are being investigated by the accident investigation unit.
