THP is investigating a fatal hit-and-run in Lawrence County

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) is seeking the public’s assistance in investigating a fatal pedestrian collision in Lawrence County.

According to THP, the crash occurred early Saturday morning in the Loretto city limits on U.S. Highway 43 near Smith Circle.

THP says the accident occurred around 2:20 a.m

Investigators said they were looking for a silver 2000-2010 Ford Ranger or Mazda Extended Cab pickup truck with front-end damage.

Authorities said the truck was last seen heading north toward Lawrenceburg.
