Wadena woman killed in two-vehicle crash in Minnesota – InForum

SYLVAN TOWNSHIP, Minn. – One person was killed Friday, Oct. 25, in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 210 between Pillager and Baxter, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

According to the patrol, the crash occurred around 11 a.m. on Highway 210 at Scearcyville Road SW.

According to the report:

A 2024 Hyundai Elantra, driven by 56-year-old Lisa Jean Peacock of Motley, was traveling westbound on Highway 210. Meanwhile, a 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, driven by a 31-year-old Wadena woman, was leaving Scearcyville Road, heading eastbound Highway 210.

The Hyundai and Chevy collided in the westbound lane of Highway 210, with both vehicles coming to rest in the southbound ditch of the highway in front of Scearcyville Road.

A Wadena woman has died from injuries suffered in the crash. As of Saturday afternoon, the State Patrol had not yet identified her.

Peacock suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the collision. She was transported to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd for treatment, the patrol said.
