A Florida priest was stabbed multiple times while drinking coffee in a terrifying attack in broad daylight

A 22-year-old woman was arrested in Florida after she stabbed a pastor in the chest while he was drinking coffee at a cafe.

Police officers from the St. Police Department Augustine, arrested Arieana Gibbs after she reportedly attacked Father Matt Marino, lead parish priest of Holy Trinity Parish, around 8 a.m. on October 23.

Gibbs allegedly stopped her bike and approached Marino and his friend sitting at a table outside talking in Juniper Market.

Within an hour, officials posted photos of the scene and an old photo of Gibbs searching for her — identifying her as a “light-skinned black female, approximately 5’10” and 100 pounds, last seen on a black bicycle wearing an orange long-sleeved blouse.” , dyed pants and a black backpack” on Facebook.

She was soon arrested and charged with attempted second-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon and simple assault.

Officials also noted that the incident appeared to be “accidental” and that Gibbs and Marino did not know each other.

He was wearing clerical clothes when the stabbing occurred.

She was standing at a soda machine at a fast food chain when an employee approached her.
