A car crash closes a road in Southwick

SOUTHWICK, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – A road is closed in Southwick following a car accident that occurred Saturday afternoon.

According to the Southwick Police Department, officers responded to reports of an accident on Foster Road that resulted in damage to a telephone pole.

Foster Road between Patriots Way and South Longyard Road is currently closed.

Authorities are asking residents to avoid the area.
