LaGrange police are looking for a suspect in an aggravated assault investigation

LAGRANGE, Ga. (WTVM) – The LaGrange Police Department has launched an aggravated assault investigation after the victim suffered a gunshot wound.

According to LPD, on Friday, October 25, just before midnight, officers responded to 201 Whitesville Road in reference to a person shot.

They said the victim reported that he was walking home when an unknown person fired a gun, striking him with at least one bullet. The victim was transported to an Atlanta hospital for further treatment.
