One person was injured in a midday shooting near Saddle Creek

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – One person was injured in a shooting near Saddle Creek Road that happened at noon Saturday.

Around noon, police arrived at a gas station near Saddle Creek Road and found evidence of a shooting.

Officers later made contact with the shooting victim at the hospital.

The victim told police that they encountered a man and a woman at the gas pump at the station. There was an argument, as a result of which the victim was shot. The victim then drove himself to Nebraska Medicine for non-life-threatening injuries.
