Deputies are asking for help locating the driver involved in a hit-and-run

TOWN OF GILLETT, Wis. (WBAY) – The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a driver involved in a crash that occurred Friday evening.

The services reported that the accident occurred on Friday, October 25, around 7:00 p.m. The Oconto County Emergency Center responded to a report of an accident involving a UTV and an SUV at Shawano Line Road and Nelson Road in the town of Gillett.

Deputies are attempting to locate Obilio Thomas Sargento Robrelo, 32, of Gillett, as a person of interest in the investigation.

After the accident, Robrelo fled the scene on foot. The department says despite exhaustive efforts by law enforcement, they have yet to locate him and he remains at large.
