A 15-year-old Bonham teenager dies after being hit by a car near State Highway 121

BONHAM, Texas (KXII) – A 15-year-old Bonham teenager died Friday after he was struck by a car while walking on State Highway 121 Wednesday evening.

According to A GoFundMethe victim is Bonham High School freshman Tristen Andersen.

Andersen was hospitalized in critical condition on Wednesday and died on Friday.

The fundraising page said Andersen “has touched many people with his kindness and generosity” and that he is raising funds “to help Tristen’s family with funeral expenses and other financial burdens they may face.”
