Trump is preparing for a massive campaign rally on Sunday at Madison Square Garden in New York

Former President Donald Trump will hold a massive campaign rally in New York Madison Square Garden on Sunday – just nine days before voters cast their ballots.

event, which, on a first-come, first-served basis, sold out within hours of being announced.

The 19,500-seat facility is home to the New York Knicks and New York Rangers.

The Trump campaign says the show will feature political icons, celebrities, musical artists and former President Trump’s friends and family who will discuss how he is “the best choice to fix everything Kamala Harris broke.”

“This epic event, which will take place in the heart of President Trump’s hometown, will be a showcase for the historic political movement that President Trump built in the final days of the campaign,” the campaign said in a press release.

Sunday’s rally will feature Elon Musk and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) CEO Dana White.

Musk has already hit the Trump campaign trail with a memorable speech Butler, Pennsylvaniaearlier this month, when the former president returned to the same place where the attempt on his life took place on July 13.

White, who has been a close friend of Trump’s for years and played a role in his re-launch of his mixed martial arts company in the early 2000s, introduced the former president during this year’s Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, saying crowd, the stakes have never been higher.

Other noteworthy guests this Sunday will include: former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, political commentator Tucker Carlson and former Democratic presidential candidate turned Republican Tulsi Gabbard.

Notable political figures include Republican vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance, Speaker Mike Johnson, Republican Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., and Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla.

Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump and the former president’s sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. will also attend the meeting.

From the world of music, Death Row Records founder Michael Harris Jr. will appear, as well as singer Lee Greenwood and opera singer Christopher Macchio.

The Garden hosted the 2004 Republican National Convention (RNC) and the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in 1924, 1976, 1980, and 1992.

then-President Ronald Reaganduring his 1984 re-election, he was the last Republican to carry New York in the White House race.

“We play for New Jersey. We’re playing for Virginia,” Trump said at a rally earlier this month, before adding that he also intends to compete in Minnesota and New Mexico.

Earlier this year, during a campaign stop at a bodega in Upper Manhattan, Trump said he would “straighten New York.”

“We will step in – first of all, you must stop crime and let the police do their job. We need to give them back their power. They have to be able to do their job,” Trump said. “And we will come to New York. We will make a big game for New York, other cities too. But this city, I love this city.”

This will be Trump’s second major rally in New York state.

Last month, Trump held a rally at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, Long Island. More than 60,000 tickets were requested, far exceeding the venue’s 16,000-seat capacity. Thousands of fans who were not allowed into the stadium watched his speech on large screens outside.

Over the summer, Trump also held a rally in the Bronx at Crotona Park, which had a permit for 3,500 people. The New York Post reported that the Bronx rally drew as many as 10,000 supporters.

Meanwhile, over the weekend, more than 20,000 people attended his second rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

The campaign also said more than 100,000 people attended the former president’s rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, in May.

Trump previously said that New York “has gotten so bad in the last three, four years.”

“And we will fix New York. If we run for president, we’ll make a big hit in New York – we could win New York,” Trump said.

While deep blue New York is unlikely to turn red in the race for the White House, another rally in the state could help Republicans lower their vote share as they try to maintain their majority in the House of Representatives in the November elections.
