JOHANNESBURG – A woman said the last time she saw her grandson, who died from eating snacks, was when he asked for money to buy snacks.

Diepkloof’s baby died after eating snacks

SABC News reported that the incident occurred on November 20, 2024 in Diepkloof in the town SowetoJohannesburg. According to reports, the five-year-old boy asked for money to buy snacks and bought them from a nearby clothing store. Sekai Ndalimane’s grandmother said that less than an hour later her daughter called her and said that her son, Siyabonga, I felt bad and vomited.

They took him to the hospital and he was later pronounced dead.
