Milwaukee street racing escape; the pedestrian was seriously injured

Milwaukee police said a pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by two racing vehicles early Saturday morning.

The incident occurred near Kinnickinnic and Ellen in the Bay View neighborhood around 2:30 a.m. Police said the 33-year-old victim was hit while crossing the street and taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

FOX6 News has learned that the victim is Cara Corder, an employee of Vanguard in Bay View. The restaurant identified Corder in Instagram post and she said she was loved by everyone.
