Death of a pair of TVM vloggers; police suspect murder-suicide | News from Onmanorama

Thiruvananthapuram: Police investigating the death of a vlogger couple in Kinaramukku, Parassala, suspect it to be a case of murder-suicide. Preliminary findings from the autopsy suggest that 40-year-old Priya may have died as a result of a neck injury that she probably suffered during a brutal fight, Manorama News reports. Her husband, Selvaraj (45), was found hanging in another room, suggesting a possible suicide.

The bodies of the couple, believed to be two days old, were found on Sunday morning by their son, who returned from Ernakulam. Authorities suspect that Selvaraj may have taken his own life after allegedly killing Priya due to family issues.

The couple, who moved to Parassala five years ago, ran a YouTube channel, Sellu Family, which has over 17,000 subscribers. Their content mainly included live broadcasts, cooking videos, and daily activities. Their last video was uploaded on Friday evening, and they spoke to their son on the phone that evening. The Prassali police are investigating to confirm the circumstances of the tragic incident.
