A man will appear in court after “deliberately” setting fire to vehicles in Dundee

A man will appear in court after allegedly deliberately setting fire to vehicles in Dundee.

Police said a 33-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with five cases of intentionally setting fire to vehicles in the area.

The incidents took place between Wednesday, September 18 and Saturday, October 26, 2024, on Strathmartine Road, Charleston Drive and Prieston Road.

He is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday, October 28.

The officers announced that the report would be submitted to the prosecutor’s office.
