Planned break in water supply from November 25 to 29

The Water and Sewage Management will close the street Blackheath Water Treatment Plant from 8am to 4pm on Monday 25 November 2024. However, please note that this will not impact the Blackheath Water Treatment Plant supply areas as the Blackheath Reservoir will be refilled in advance.

Water inflow from the Wingerd reservoir to ul Westridge (Somerset West) this area will be closed from 9am to 5pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. Affected residents and businesses are advised to store water in clean, tight containers ahead of disruption.

Water supply to the area along Roeland Street between De Villiers Street and Jutland Street, including Brandweer Street and Waterloo Street, in CBD in Cape Town area, maintenance will be carried out from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.

Water supply of Sekcji Street and the surrounding area in ul Paardena Eiland will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 and Thursday, November 28, 2024.

Water supply to the street Band this area will be closed from 8am to 5pm on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. The entire Strand area will be closed affect maintenance work. We are asking affected residents and businesses to store enough water in advance in clean, tight containers.

The Water and Sewage Management will close the street Water treatment plant in Steenbras from 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 until 22:00 on Friday, November 29, 2024. However, we are asking residents and businesses across the city to reduce their water use during this period.

Pressure-free tests (ZPT) and conditional assessments of the water supply network in the province will be performed Tygerberg office park, Belvedere, De Tijger AND Avondale areas on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
