Maryland State Trooper Arrested for DUI

No one was physically injured in a two-vehicle crash on I-83 NB near Ruxton Rd early Saturday morning, but a Maryland State Trooper was charged with driving under the influence.

According to the Maryland State Police, Lt. Duane Hill was arrested following suspicions that he had a diving problem.

At the time of the accident, he was off duty and driving a passenger car.

Hill has been with MSP for almost 20 years.

He has been placed on administrative leave and suspended with pay while state police conduct an administrative investigation.
