2 people were injured in a clash between 2 factions of the student movement in Brahmanbaria

According to reports, two people were injured in a clash between two factions of the Students’ Anti-Discrimination Movement in Brahmanbaria today (November 23) over the formation of the committee.

The injured were identified as Borhan Uddin (21) and Faisal (27). They were admitted to Brahmanbaria General Hospital and later shifted to a private hospital in the city.

The incident took place at Government Model Girls High School in the district this afternoon, said Officer-in-Chief (OC) of Brahmanbaria Police Station Sadar Mohammad Mozzaffor Hossain.

“The injured were taken to hospital. However, none of the parties has lodged a complaint with the police station in connection with the incident,” the officer added.

According to eyewitnesses and students, a meeting was organized today at the Government Model Girls High School premises to form a committee as per the directives of the central committee.

At some point during the meeting, an argument broke out between the two groups, resulting in two people being injured.
