(WHTM) — State police are asking truck drivers to check their dash cameras for an unknown truck that fatally struck a man on the shoulder of westbound I-76 on Nov. 22 in a police-reported suicide.

According to State Police, on November 22 at approximately 4:03 a.m., authorities responded to westbound I-76 near mile marker 304.0 in East Nantmeal Township, Chester County, for reports of a man being fatally struck on the shoulder/lane of travel by an unknown male. truck. The statement stated that the nature of the incident was suicide.

PSP-Embreeville is asking all truck drivers and vehicle operators traveling westbound on I-76 in the Camiel Service Plaza area on November 22 from 2:45 a.m. to 4:05 a.m. to review dash cam footage and check their vehicles for damage.
