Aluva: Aluva actress who announced earlier dropped sexual assault complaints against seven peopleincluding prominent actors like Mukesh, Jayasurya, Idavela Babu and Balachandra Menon, has now changed her mind stating that she will not be doing the same. Speaking to Mathrubhumi on Sunday, she stressed that her decision to pursue the cases was in the interest of justice.

Earlier, the actress publicly announced on social media her decision to withdraw her complaints due to the lack of support from the government. The actress assured that she was unwavering in her pursuit of justice.

Regarding the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses) case filed against her based on a complaint filed by one of her relatives of the girls, the actress reiterated that she is innocent, claiming that she financially supported the relative and helped her when she reported doubts about a person, he allegedly followed her with the intention of throwing acid on her. The actress claimed that she was the one who alerted the authorities and protected the girl from him.

A complaint was submitted to all relevant authorities requesting a thorough investigation into the matter. However, according to her, no action was taken. The actress stated that an investigation should also have been conducted to determine whether the person she was complaining about was involved in the incident. She further explained that she decided to reveal everything now, after all this time, solely for the good of society. She added that she did not want anyone else to have to go through a similar situation in the future.

However, the testimony of the minor girl shows that in 2014, the actress took her and her mother to Chennai under the pretext of interrogations. There, the actress allegedly tried to hand over the girl to several people at the hotel. The complaint also accused the actress of having links with a sex trafficking ring. In response, Muvattupuzha police registered a case against the actress under the POCSO Act.
