Siblings arrested for robbing dead relative’s house

Fort Towson, Okla. (KXII) – Two siblings have been arrested for allegedly robbing a deceased man’s travel trailer.

Before his death, the Fort Towson man purchased a travel trailer from which 26-year-old Heather Bates and 30-year-old Justin Bates stole several items that were later recovered by Choctaw County deputies after serving a search warrant Wednesday morning, according to the Choctaw County sheriff. Among the stolen items, the officers found marijuana and amphetamine.

The Bates are accused of concealing stolen property.
