In a significant development, a man hailing from Jaipur in Rajasthan was saved by his friend on Saturday (November 23) after he was seen committing suicide during a live broadcast he started on Facebook. According to the information released, the incident took place on Saturday evening when Pavan, a resident of Bagru in Jaipur, checked into a hotel on the Ajmer highway. He then began broadcasting live on Facebook, where he threatened suicide.

The police said that one of his friends, who then saw Pavan’s threat to take his own life, immediately informed his friend, who was the head constable of Jaipur. The police mentioned that when the policeman learned about the incident, he located the man and notified the hotel staff.

“After confirmation, the hotel staff, out of urgency, immediately rushed into the room and found Pavan, who was about to hang himself from the ceiling fan. They immediately intervened and saved him,” the police added. Importantly, it is to be noted that the victim (Pawan) was taken to Sawai Man Singh Hospital, Jaipur, where he is currently undergoing treatment. Moreover, further investigations in this matter are ongoing.
