Mason Rudolph’s interception sets up a David Montgomery touchdown and the Lions score first

Titans quarterback Mason Rudolph had a rough start today in Detroit.

Under heavy pressure, Rudolph should have simply taken the sack, but instead he tried to force a pass, and Lions linebacker Trevor Nowaske intercepted the ball deep in Titans territory.

From there, the Lions gave the ball back to David Montgomery twice and he responded with runs of nine and seven yards, the latter of which reached the end zone for a touchdown and a 7-0 lead.

Detroit’s Malcolm Rodriguez was injured on the next kickoff. He limped to the sideline and was taken to the locker room. The Lions said he suffered an ankle injury and his return was questionable.

Titans quarterback Will Levis is injured and sidelined today. Levis has made some stupid throws this season, and now Rudolph has shown he can do the same. The Titans need him to get better.
