Lisle man charged with sexual assault by Ostego police – Shaw Local

Ostego Police on Saturday after an eight-month investigation charged a Lisle man with sexual assault.

Larry E. Foster, 31, was charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of criminal trespass. Ostego police arrested Foster at his residence in Lisle at 6:24 a.m. Saturday, according to a news release from the Oswego Police Department.

Oswego police began an investigation on March 16 after a victim reported that an unknown man entered her home and sexually assaulted her, the release said. According to the statement, the perpetrator left the apartment before the police arrived, but the surveillance footage captured him inside the house.

Detectives published still photos in an attempt to identify the perpetrator, but this attempt was unsuccessful, the release said. Forensic evidence found at the scene led to the identification of Foster as the suspect.

The investigation also determined that the victim was known to Foster. Foster was taken to the Kendall County Jail to await a pretrial hearing.
