The stepson of WWE legend Ric Flair tragically dies at the age of 24

Sebastian Kidderrising musician and stepson of wrestling legend Ric Flair, tragically died at the age of 24 by suicide.

He was the first to report this news TMZ Sports and confirmed by Kidder’s mother, Wendy Barlow, who said the family was devastated.

“I am devastated and shocked,” Barlow said TMZ Sports. “This is an epidemic among your young men. And mental health…”

Kidder was an emerging musician who had just released his first album, which made his mother very proud.

“I am very excited to announce the release of My Son Sebastian’s first album,” Barlow said in a post on the website Instagram. “It’s called Under the Moon and you can find it on all streaming platforms. He writes his songs and has worked hard to self-release his music.”

Last summer, Kidder appeared on the show Good morning, Atlanta, FOX promote the album and perform one of your songs. He revealed that his mother was the catalyst for his music career.

“I recorded the cover and didn’t think anything of it, but my mom noticed it and started sending it to people,” Kidder said. “You get traction and you roll with it.”

Flair met Barlow, a retired professional tennis player and world-class coach, more than a decade ago and has since become a figure in Kidder’s life. He was also very supportive of Kidder’s music career.

“I definitely have a lot of advice (on dealing with fame),” Kidder said of Flair. “It’s interesting that growing up with Ric as a stepfather was very different, very special.”

“You go out for a family meal and you’re surrounded by fans, people who come and want photos. You have been exposed to this from an early age. What kind of kid has Post Malone coming to dinner with his family? Darius Rucker One time he drove up in his big tour bus. It was crazy.

“Congratulations (Sebastian) on releasing your first album – Under the Moon!” Flair said in a post on X. “I’m so proud of you! WOOOOO!”
