Attacks on red-painted ‘brothel’ in city center ‘unrelated’

Attacks on red-painted ‘brothel’ in city center ‘unrelated’

Andrew Mitchell owns a flat in Stonegate House on Stone Street, where the first attack took place on September 27.

He said: “We really don’t know what these people are getting at.

– Whether they claim this place is a brothel or a “brothel” as they call it.

“We looked into the matter and called the police, who say they found nothing.”

Mitchell, 67, bought the condo when the complex was built in 2006.

He said: “We have had nothing but vandalism over the last decade. We simply cannot make any progress on this. It just kept getting worse, degraded.”

The retired engineer, who now rents out his property, said he found it hard to believe there was no connection.

He added: “It’s weird, isn’t it? «Borthel» – misspelled brothel, and looking at the letters in both cases, it is a very similar script.

“I’m thinking of two cases where red paint was thrown and the word ‘brothel’ was used. No connection? There must be something that wasn’t there?
