NACTA warns of potential threat of terrorist activities during PTI protest

The National Counter-Terrorism Authority has issued a warning in connection with the potential threat of terrorist activities of the Fitna-al-Khwarij group during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf protest.

An intelligence report released by NACTA also suggested the possibility of Khwarij militants crossing from Afghanistan into Pakistan and there are fears that they may target major cities as part of terrorist activities.

Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Home Department also issued a threat alert in connection with the PTI protest.

The alert reveals that Khwariji is planning a suicide bomb attack during the PTI protest.
