Police accused the woman of throwing her dog from a second-story balcony

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A woman is facing animal cruelty charges after she allegedly threw her dog off a two-story balcony, according to an arrest affidavit.

The woman, 21-year-old Keosha Glenn, asked the two victims if she could spend the night at their place.

The victims told police that they initially agreed, but after speaking with the facility’s management, they said they could not have any guests.

They let Glenn leave his things for safekeeping and pick them up the next day.

The next day, October 14, Glenn and six other people showed up at the victim’s apartment and allegedly began banging on the door.

The report states that when one of the victims opened the door, Glenn pushed her way inside and pushed one of the victims, causing him to fall to the ground.

Glenn then allegedly pepper-sprayed the second victim and punched him, police said. The statement says six other people started punching and kicking the woman.

Glenn grabbed his things and started walking outside. Police said that before he left, Glenn grabbed the victim’s dog and threw it off a two-story balcony, breaking its legs.

Glenn fled the scene on a city bus. Witnesses were able to obtain photos of her and compare them to photos of Glenn that the victims had.

Police arrested Glenn on October 24 and charged her with animal cruelty, aggravated burglary and assault.
