Father Missing Maui woman Hannah Kobayashi was found dead in Los Angeles during a desperate search for the 30-year-old.

According to 58-year-old Ryan Kobayashi, the body was found early Sunday morning in a parking lot near LAX airport. Los Angeles Police DepartmentNBC Los Angeles reported. It is believed that he died by suicide.

Just days earlier, Ryan had been handing out missing person’s fliers to people on the streets of Los Angeles, saying he would do everything in his power to find his daughter.

“He is a wonderful person who brings joy to so many people,” he told reporters at the time.

Ryan had he traveled to Los Angeles to help search for his daughterwho disappeared on November 8 when she stopped at Los Angeles International Airport en route from Hawaii to New York.

Hannah was scheduled to meet her aunt, Geordan Montalvo, and her aunt’s husband, Bob, in New York, and they all had tickets to the November 12 concert together. The holiday was described as a bucket list trip.

However, on November 8, the 30-year-old missed her connecting flight at LAX airport.

The next day, she was spotted at a bookstore in The Grove, a popular shopping mall in Los Angeles. A day later, she was seen at LeBron James’ party.

On November 11, surveillance footage captured her in a downtown Los Angeles subway station with someone unknown to her family.

Larie Pidgeon, Hannah’s aunt, told KTLA 5 her niece didn’t look well. “She is not safe and she is not alone,” she added.

Her family said earlier Daily mail that police waited 10 days after Hannah’s disappearance to contact them because they condemned the slow investigation.

Before she disappeared, Hannah sent cryptic text messages to a friend in which she wrote that she was “basically tricked into giving all of her funds” to “someone I thought I loved.”

Her sister, Sydni Kobayashi, described the lyrics as “really weird.” Hannah added that she got scared and couldn’t go home.

Then the texting suddenly stopped.

Hannah is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds. She has brown hair and eyes and fair skin with freckles.

The search for Hannah continues.
