Daily death toll from Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon approaches 20 – Ministry of Health – World

BEIRUT, October 27. /TASS/. Nineteen people were killed and 108 more injured in Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon last day, said the Public Health Emergency Operations Center under the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

The most casualties were recorded in the southern areas near Sidon and Tire, where 7 people were killed and 48 were injured. Ten people were killed in Nabatieh and 55 were hospitalized with injuries. Two people were killed and five injured in Baalbek-Hermel.

The total death toll from Israeli bombings and artillery attacks since the current escalation began in October 2023 has reached 2,772, with 12,468 people injured.
