CCTV images have been released of a man following a serious assault at a Paisley Road West pub in Glasgow

A CCTV appeal has been launched following a serious assault in a Glasgow pub almost eight months ago.

The incident took place just after 6.45pm on Sunday, April 7, at a licensed premises on Paisley Road West.

Police believe the man in the photo may assist them with their ongoing investigation.

He is described as white, between 30 and 35 years old, approximately 170 cm tall and of slim build with short dark hair.

At the time of the incident he was wearing dark blue jeans, a dark sweater and jacket, and black tennis shoes.

Detective Constable Kirstin Walker, from Govan Police Office, said: “I am appealing to the man in the photos, or anyone who recognizes him, to contact us.”
