The police are looking for suspects involved in breaking into 6 cars and stealing credit cards

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) – “Several vehicles had their windshields broken and purses were stolen from several vehicles,” the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office said.

MCSO is asking for the community’s help in identifying suspects involved in vehicle thefts and use of stolen credit cards.

Officials say on November 15, an unknown person entered six vehicles parked at Liberty Cap Trail Head at Colorado National Monument. The suspects also damaged other vehicles, but they were unable to gain access to them.

Officials say that almost immediately after the crime, a male suspect was seen on video using one of the victim’s credit cards at the Redlands Safeway.

A woman in Greenwood Village, Colorado, was also seen on video attempting to cash a stolen check using identification stolen from her vehicle.

Law enforcement is asking anyone with information about the crime to contact the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office at 970-242-6707 or submit a tip. Tips can be submitted anonymously via Mesa County Crime Fighters.
