Driver dies after crash in Albemarle – The Stanly News & Press

A driver who was involved in a crash on the Northeast Connector in Albemarle Friday morning has died.
David Aaron, 41, the driver involved in the crash at the intersection of Northeast Connector and Johnson Street, died Saturday at a hospital from his injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Albemarle Police responded at approximately 8:17 a.m. Friday to the scene of a single-vehicle crash resulting in pinning and serious injuries at the intersection of Northeast Connector and Johnson Street.
There were no other people in the vehicle. No other injuries were reported.
