Now what about the UFC star?

Now what about the UFC star?

After a nearly two-week trial, the former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor was found responsible for sexual assault in Ireland following an incident in 2018.

AND the jury returned a verdict against McGregor (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC) in civil proceedings after he was accused of raping Nikita Hand in a hotel room, for which he was ordered to pay approximately $250,000 in damages. Although McGregor says he intends to appeal the result, there is an argument that the blow to his public reputation cannot be undone.

The fallout from this situation is still ongoing, and McGregor is dealing with many potential layers, both in terms of his personal life and his future as a fighter under the UFC banner.

A panel of Mike Bohn, Nolan King and Dan Tom joined “Gorgeous” host George Garcia on this week’s episode of “Spinning Back Clique” to discuss the aftermath of McGregor’s civil case loss and the future of MMA’s biggest star in history.
