A TikTok influencer was arrested for shoplifting after bragging about transporting merchandise she allegedly stole from a Target store in Florida.

Marlena Velez, 22, was charged with petit larceny in connection with stealing $500.32 worth of household items and clothing from a Cape Coral Target on Oct. 30, The Independent reported, citing Cape Coral police.

Authorities say Velez scanned fake barcodes indicating lower prices at the self-checkout after selecting 16 items from the store.

Later that day, she posted a video on TikTok titled “A Day in the Life of a Mom,” wearing the same outfit and appearing at the same Target store. The video shows her selecting the stolen items and loading them into the car.

Police arrested Velez after posting photos of the suspect wearing a brown suit and glasses. An anonymous tipster identified her by providing her name, social media accounts and date of birth.

Booking records show Velez was held last week at the Lee County Jail and later released on $150 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on December 10.
