The incident took place on July 5, 2019. According to the indictment, Tshiamo Olaotswe is accused of murdering Thabiso Gabanthole. Olaotswe allegedly hit Gabanthole with a rock and then stabbed him.

For now, it is unclear what could have caused the quarrel between the accused and the deceased. Olaotswe’s trial was scheduled to start yesterday (November 25), but Judge Lot Moroka adjourned the case to November 26 after the prosecutor informed the court that he could not recognize some of his witnesses due to their late arrival the previous night, November 24. Moroka adjourned the hearing for today. The trial will also continue on November 27 and 28.
