The Drowned is an assault rifle in Stalker 2 that can suffer a bit from exposure to the elements, but a small investment can get it back up and running.

Where to find the Drowned assault rifle in Stalker 2

The drowned assault rifle can be found just outside the slag pile, in the trash. There is a concrete bridge between two bodies of water, where you can meet a character named Boo. Talk to him and he will tell you that he lost his gun.

It can be found just underground, leaning against a piece of concrete at the water’s edge. Now this weapon cannot be missed, and even if you accept a small quest from Boo to get it for him, it can still disappear due to an apparent bug that causes both Boo and the Drowned to disappear.

So when you talk to Boo, go down to the pool and immediately grab your gun. After returning to Boo, you can give him the gun or keep it for yourself. Giving him the gun doesn’t do anything, so you might as well tell him you’ll keep it.

It’ll cost you quite a bit of cash to repair, but it’s worth it as the weapon is really nice and comes with an underslung grenade launcher to help you deal with more pressing threats, although ammo for it is quite scarce.
