Black Ops 6’s underrated assault rifle is Warzone’s secret metabreaker

Black Ops 6’s underrated assault rifle is Warzone’s secret metabreaker

Jacob Hale

There is one assault rifle that was a solid choice in the Black Ops 6 meta, but didn’t really translate to Warzone. However, with the right design, it could actually cut through enemy teams as if they had no plates at all.

The Warzone meta started to take shape quite rigidly after the integration with BO6, with GPR 91 AND PDW Jackal assault rifle and number 1 submachine gun, respectively.

While there are some outliers and non-meta picks that can do well, these two are ultimately the best weapons in the game.

The weapon that puts them to the test, especially at range, is the Model L assault rifle – which can roam on any map, eliminating opponents with ease.

The L model is a secret demon beyond the meta

Here’s how you should build your Model L in Warzone:

  • Optical: Jason Armory 2x
  • Mouth: Moved compensator
  • Barrel: Reinforced barrel
  • Under the barrel: Vertical front grip
  • Warehouse: Extended magazine II
  • Rear handle: Commando handle
  • Warehouse: Balanced stocks
  • Fire mods: 5.56 NATO overpressure
The best Model L equipment in Warzone

If you’re running a Gunfighter, these eight additions will make your Model L even better.

These additions will maximize the Model L’s already laser-like accuracy and moderate damage stats, and add increased movement speed, projectile speed, and damage range to make it a demon for all playstyles.

If you are not a fan of Gunfighter and prefer Overkill classes, we recommend using the class PP 919 or Jackal PDW submachine guns. However, this means you’ll have to sacrifice three attachments from this loadout, so we suggest ditching it Sustainable stocks, Commando handleAND Vertical front grip in such a case.

You’ll still have the same precision accuracy, but it may require a bit more user control, but of course you’ll have the advantage of taking the submachine gun with you, so ultimately it’s up to you.

If the Model L doesn’t provide the power you’re looking for, it does new XM4 attachments that completely eliminate recoil from the weapon.
