Conor McGregor he lost a civil suit against a woman named Nikita’s handaka Nikita Ni Laimhin, in Ireland. She accused him of sexual assault, which McGregor denied. Hand is 35 years old and the mother of one daughter – she revealed during a conversation with the press after the jury issued its verdict on November 22, 2024.

“I would like to start by saying that I am overwhelmed and touched by the support I have received from everyone,” Hand said, according to American sun. “Finally, I want to thank my daughter Freya, for which I am very grateful to her. She has given me so much strength and courage over the last six years during this nightmare to continue fighting for justice. … I want to show Freya and every other girl and boy that you can stand up for yourself if something happens to you, no matter who that person is, and justice will be served.”

Hand alleged that McGregor, 36, “brutally raped and beaten” her in 2018 in a penthouse suite in a Dublin hotel, according to Newsweek.

McGregor denied raping Hand and stated that they had consensual sex during the 2018 incident in question. Hand claimed she told McGregor “no” when he kissed her, and according to multiple sources, the mixed martial arts fighter pinned her to the bed and choked her. As for McGregor, he claimed they had “enthusiastic and athletic” sex and she “never said ‘no’ or stopped.” He then called Hand’s testimony a lie.

Nevertheless, a Supreme Court jury found him guilty of sexual assault in 2018. McGregor announced that his legal team plans to appeal the jury’s decision.

McGregor is not married, but is engaged to his fiancée, Dee Devlinsince August 2020. The couple has been together since 2008 and has four children.

Did Conor McGregor cheat on Dee Devlin?

In a statement shared via X On November 25, 2024, McGregor admitted to having “given up” on Devlin after a jury ordered him to pay Hand more than €250,000 in damages.

“I know I made mistakes. Six years ago I shouldn’t have responded to her requests at all,” McGregor wrote on Twitter, apparently referring to Hand, before admitting to cheating on Devlin. “I should have shut down the party. I should never have thrown myself at the woman I love most in the world. It’s all up to me.”

McGregor emphasized his remorse and stated that “everything that happened that night was consensual” between him and Hand. Devlin was by McGregor’s side throughout the entire process. The couple was photographed they entered and exited the Supreme Court together throughout the trial.
