One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash on the I-520 entrance ramp

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – One person has died following a single-vehicle crash on the Gordon Highway on-ramp to I-520.

On Sunday, the Richmond County Coroner’s Office says a vehicle went off an eastbound ramp into a wooded area and then overturned.

The coroner’s office said the driver died at the scene at 6:30 p.m.

The victim’s name will be released once next of kin has been notified.
