“I don’t believe it” – the UFC star’s opinion about Conor McGregor’s verdict causes controversy

UFC lightweight Rafael Fiziev has some strong opinions about the UFC Conor McGregorcivil court case.

A Dublin Civil Court jury found McGregor, a millionaire MMA fighter, responsible for the sexual assault of a woman named Nikita Hand at a hotel in December 2018 after a night of partying and cocaine use.

Hand claims McGregor forced himself on her by pinning her to the bed after telling him she didn’t want to have sex. McGregor has denied the sexual assault allegations and plans to appeal the court’s decision, which ordered the Irishman to pay Hand an estimated $250,000. dollars in compensation.

McGregor’s legal case has touched many people, including Rafael Fiziew, the 11th-ranked lightweight, who refuses to believe that McGregor raped his hand.

“I don’t believe in this shit,” Fiziev said Radio Subscription (h/t: House of Fighting). “I think when people have a lot of money like he does, when he has the money, when he has the hype, when he has the glory, and so on… Sometimes you shoot some woman and that woman is like a bomb, you know, you just want to spend time with her some night but she wants to fuck your life.

McGregor’s lawyer used the term “gold digger” as a label for Hand by McGregor’s lawyer, and McGregor testified that her allegations were fabricated. On Monday, McGregor contacted X (formerly Twitter), claiming that the intercourse was consensual.

“I don’t think he’s in the right place at the right time,” Fiziev said of 2018’s McGregor. “I think this lady is just going to report him because she wanted something from him. I don’t believe in such stories… because people also like to lie sometimes for money.

Fiziew’s comments about McGregor were met with much criticism online.

Conor McGregor’s PR department has been hit hard by the court ruling, losing its first deal with the brand yesterday, as well as its Proper No. Irish whisky. 12 (which it sold to Proximo Spirits in 2021) from selected store shelves, according to a new report published this week in the UK Subway.
