A motorcyclist died in hospital days after a crash on Southside

A motorcyclist who crashed his motorcycle on Tucson’s south side earlier this month died in hospital from his injuries late last week.

Dylon Anderson was traveling southbound on South Alvernon Way near East Irvington Road on Nov. 15 when he lost control of his motorcycle and fell, according to a press release from the Pima County Sheriff’s Office.

The news release said Anderson was not wearing a helmet at the time.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash around 4:42 p.m. According to the release, the man was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, where he died on November 22 as a result of his injuries.
