At least three people killed in house fire in Temple City – NBC Los Angeles

At least three people are dead and two more were hospitalized following a house fire in Temple City on Sunday.

Los Angeles County Fire Department firefighters were dispatched to the home in the 6000 block of Sultana Avenue around 4:50 p.m. and were able to extinguish the fire in 30 minutes.

However, the department said three people died due to the “severe heat” caused by the flames.

Authorities did not reveal the identities of the victims.

Investigators were trying to determine what caused the fire and whether there were smoke detectors in the house.
