A Chicago man allegedly had multiple computer files containing child pornography

CHICAGO – Police said a Chicago man has been charged with possession of child pornography.

Jose Rodriguez, 56, faces one count of possession of child pornography.

According to police, the charges stem from an incident that occurred on October 17 in which Rodriguez allegedly had multiple computer files containing child pornography.

Rodriguez was arrested Tuesday by members of the Chicago Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, in cooperation with detectives from the Special Investigations Unit.

A detention hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
