Missing woman found murdered on Garden Route identified

The missing woman whose body was discovered in the Great Brak River this week has been identified as 54-year-old Joan Singrew.

After her body was discovered, the family posted a post on social media.

Singrew, of Rosemoor, George, was last seen at her home on November 21 at around 7.30am

When she did not show up for work at 11 a.m., her daughter reported her missing at the Conville police station that same day.

Conville police found her body Monday on a bushy path.

Police are investigating the murder but no arrests have been made.
