Two people injured after single-vehicle crash in DeKalb County

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA) – The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single-vehicle crash that injured two people Tuesday evening.

The crash occurred in the 3800 block of County Road 43 around 9:45 p.m

Police say a pickup truck was traveling northbound on County Road 43 when the driver lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway, striking multiple objects.

According to the department, both the driver and the young passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital.

An investigation into this matter is currently underway. Police believe speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
