Jiah Khan tried to commit suicide 4-5 times before meeting Sooraj Pancholi, reveals Zarina Wahab

Actress Jiah Khan died in 2013 by suicide on June 3 at her apartment in Juhu, Mumbai. Later, Khan’s boyfriend, actor Sooraj Pancholi, was arrested on charges of abetment of suicide based on a six-page suicide note that mentioned her difficult relationship with Pancholi. Now, Sooraj’s mother, actress Zarina Wahab, has opened up about Jiah’s death and revealed that she tried to commit suicide 4-5 times before meeting her son. “Uske pehle bhi usne 4-5 baar try kiya hai, lekin naseeb aisi thi ki jab mere beta ka turn to what happened,” she told Lehren in an interview.

She further stated that Sooraj’s career was ruined after she was in jail due to Jiah’s suicide.
