Man accused of murdering father and brother in Newark with a knife

A man has been charged with murdering his father and brother in a Wise County home.

Police conducted a welfare check at a home on November 20 at 211 County Road 4874 in Newark, Texas. Officers received no response from inside the home, but did see two vehicles registered to the homeowners in the driveway.

The police were told that for three days, i.e. since November 17, no one had heard about the men living there. Officers entered the home to investigate and found two men dead and another injured with multiple stab wounds.

The two deceased men were identified as 64-year-old William Struble and 29-year-old Martin Struble. The injured man, 32-year-old William Struble III, was identified as the victim’s son and brother.

William Struble Jr. he suffered fresh cuts to his wrist and neck, but his injuries were not life-threatening. It is unclear how he received the stab wounds.

Both victims had been stabbed multiple times and were found wrapped in bedclothes. The statement shows that the father’s body was moved to another part of the house.

Police believe the victims had been dead for some time before their discovery.

Court records show he has previous charges including possession of marijuana, failing to attend school and failing to report a change of address.
