A Michigan man who was allegedly sexually assaulted offered to drive him home

GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, MI – A Michigan man was arrested after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman he offered to drive home from a bar.

Reported by UpNorthLive that Christopher Warren, 31, of Acme was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct in connection with the Nov. 1 incident.

According to the Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office, Warren is accused of driving a 44-year-old woman from downtown Traverse City to the East Bay Township area and sexually assaulting her.

He then left her on the side of Holiday Road, where she called 911, the television station reported.

Warren was arrested on November 5 after an investigation and several interviews. He was booked into the Grand Traverse County Jail.
