Lincoln Crimestoppers is looking for help identifying ‘Peeping Peeping Tom’ – burglary suspects

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lincoln Crimestoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man accused of being a “voyeur” and two burglars involved in multiple burglaries.

The first case involves a man accused of lurking near a home near South 40th and Washington streets. According to Lincoln police, the man, described as a 6-foot-10-inch-tall white male wearing a gray Nike sweatshirt, had been repeatedly looking through bedroom windows and walking around the yard since August.

The homeowner also reported finding the word “RUN” written on the inside of the kitchen door glass along with a smudged handprint. The incidents continued even after the homeowner installed a Ring doorbell camera, which captured video footage of the man in their yard.

Another report involved a man who knocked on the bedroom window of a 15-year-old girl near South 40th and Calvert streets the evening before. Authorities believe the two incidents may be related.

The second case involves Lincoln Vapor, located at North 27th and Fairfield streets he has been broken into four times in the last five weeks. Burglars reportedly forced entry or entry into the door during each break-in, causing over $2,000 in damage to the building.

The store owner reported a total loss of over $5,000 worth of stolen products, including $2,000 worth of Geek Bar vaporizers stolen in the latest burglary. In surveillance video provided by police, the suspects can be heard talking about Geek Bars before stealing the items.
